HEMCURE TREATMENT PROCEDURE

The HemCURE method of treatment begins with a detailed history and examination of the patient to determine the nature of the disorder and its magnitude.

The HemCURE procedure consists of destruction of the base of the hemorrhoid tissue causing it to shrink and retract. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis in a doctor's office and does not require any recuperative time away from work. The procedure usually requires three to five treatments, with a different area or hemorrhoid treated each time. Each treatment takes only a few minutes and is virtually painless. Generally, patients who have been interviewed about the procedure describe it as "mildly uncomfortable".

The HemCURE method requires no hospitalization, is done under a local anesthetic if needed, causes minimal discomfort and is relatively inexpensive. The procedure is covered by most insurance companies, and predetermination for benefits will be done at the time of your visit.
